The next-door studio has been vacated, there’s something a little melancholy about an empty artists studio, nothing but the ghost of an idea left behind.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
