Spotted on the road to Windsor in my morning ride, the day after the latest lockdown was announced. An appropriate visual metaphor for the state of the nation.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
