Lanes

The long march back to some kind of normality continues. Today the gym opened for outdoor classes only, it felt good, if slightly surreal to enter an empty venue only to exit out the back and take up a static bike for a group cycle class on the patio. I could have done with a dip in the pool afterwards but that pleasure is to be denied for a few weeks yet. I shall monitor the situation closely, maybe a covert swim will be allowed before the official opening.
