In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Peaslake

The lockdown easing this weekend means unlimited exercise is now permissible. Recently i’ve been venturing out a little further by bike early on Sunday mornings. Nestled in the Surrey Hills is the picture postcard village of Peaslake, the land that time forgot. The Village Stores still remains open serving it’s famous home-made sausage rolls from the serving hatch. Jolly good show.
